Mr. Lo CHAY is Executive Chairman of WE Venture Co., Ltd., a Co-Founder and Board of Directors of Cambodian Water Association and Founder of TEUK SAAT 1001. Mr. Lo graduated a Master’s Degree in Engineering of Water Management from l’Ecole Nationale du Génie Rural des Eaux et des Forêts (ENGREF) in France and Water engineering from Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC).
Mr. Lo has more than 15 year experiences water sectors. In 2011 he was awarded Social Entrepreneur of the Year in Asia by The Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship for his work in the 1001fontaines and TEUK SAAT 1001 initiative “that has transformative implications both locally and globally”.
Mr. Chanrith KRUY, General Manager. He earned his Master degree in International Master in Rural Economics and Sociology (IMARES) from cooperation program between Hanoi University of Agriculture (Vietnam) and The University of Liege (Belgium). Chanrith worked at Teuk Saat 1001 since 2010 as a social marketing project manager. His main work was to support the team in developing the social marketing strategy, making the awareness and education campaigns on water and sanitation in the villages and schools to make the behavior change on the water consumption of Cambodian.
He also joined with team to do market research in order to understand about the perception of the customer and their expectation. In 2016, Chanrith worked on the project deployment to identify the potential commune to setup the project of 20L bottle in 16 provinces in Cambodia. By December 2017, he was appointed as Communication Manager and work closely with other donors and development partners of Teuk Saat 1001 such as UNICEF, USAID, Japanese Embassy in Cambodia for KUSANONE Grant. In November 2017, he joined with the team to establish WE Venture Co., Ltd and he is the General Manager.
Mr. KY Seymeas, Water Engineer of WE Venture Co., Ltd. He graduated from Institute Technology of Cambodia (ITC) in Water resources and Hydrology engineering. His main role is to design the water treatment system, design new pipeline and improve existing pipeline and Hydraulic calculation.
